My Background

I have 30 experience as a professional trainer of technical material, including computer programming languages, computer tools, and computer operating systems. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Master degree in Computer Science. I have completed one year of training in Somatic Experiencing (SE) from the Somatic Experiencing Trauma Institute.

My Approach & Philosophy

I believe that math anxiety is a form of trauma, and have seen how the SE trauma resolution technique helps people overcome their discomfort around learning and doing math.

I am based in New Paltz, NY. I work with clients locally, and also work with clients remotely using video conferencing and collaborative whiteboard software for an engaging, healing experience. You can reach me at mike@mathminusanxiety.com
